Everyone was friendly and attentive to the guest and the property is super clean

When we arrived after check in our room was not ready strike 1. I paid for a sea view room. When I walked in our view was beautiful furniture outdated. We discovered the sheets were not clean, hair on the bathroom floor, and our mini bar was not stocked at all. We were given a different room with a view of the parking lot. We asked can they clean the first room so we can go back they did and stock the mini bar. Next morning a roach was in the bathroom. We get moved to a better room better view. Next night we get a lizard in the room and next day another roach. The food was not the best we went two days without tv first someone said it’s a hotel issue next day they sent someone up who fixed the tv. Pools close super early and drinks are watered down. I will not visit another riu because of this! All this money we paid to have outdated furniture and roaches and lizards. One grill for jerk chicken.

I had an excellent experience overall! The spa gives you free hydrotherapy with massages so that was amazing. And the staff were overall attentive and friendly
