“AVOID THE HOTEL VERSION OF A SUPERMARKET SELF SERVICE TILL. No staff AT ALL on site. You’re sent a code to get in. The room was horrid. Broken bed, rips in curtain. Leaking toilet, broken toilet seat and sink plug. Heavily stained carpet. I ARRIVED but if you needed to speak to someone, you had to ring a number. I was later getting there because of London traffic so I quickly changed to meet for a sound check. The state of the room didn’t become apparent until I got back at around midnight. By...

“The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room had everything we needed and had modern facilities. The hotel was in a good location for visiting sites in the area. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also excellent.”

“Ideal—great location, lovely well-equipped apt with kitchen, and points in the building to pick up any extras needed (eg more dishwasher tabs or towels). Just 15 mins walk from the aquarium, 5 to museums, and 10 or so to the train station.”
