“Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space.”

“Completely disappointed about this place. The rate we paid establish a charge of 60 pounds for cleaning concept. Well, clearly they are not using this money for such porpuse. I can not believe the state of that duvet, dust on the appliances and the exhaust vents, stained carpets and crumbs on the counter. Lucky the bathroom was acceptable and we did not use the kitchen or the fridge at all.”

“La ubicación es muy buena, estas a pocas cuadras de todos los puntos turísticos de York. El departamento es muy espacioso y que tenga dos baños es buenísimo. Sin embargo tiene problemas de limpieza. Toda el area de la cocina y el living estaban bastante sucias. También había un problema de polillas, por lo que llamar a un fumigador no seria una mala idea. El wifi es decente. Tiene una extraña decoración pero supongo que eso es cuestión de gustos. La relación precio calidad es mala así que no...

“Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended.”
