What a smashing hotel. From start to finish our stay was so enjoyable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful both on reception and in the bar and eating areas. We booked the Club room for our stay. It was spacious with a lovely big comfortable bed and a great monsoon shower. We had breakfast included in our 2 night stay and it was absolutely worth it. Plenty to choose from and the cooked breakfast was delicious, good quality produce. Walk out the doors and over the bridge and you're there to all the shops, bars and the wonderful York Minster. A great hotel and we'll definitely stay here again. 10/10

First time at this hotel and we loved it. Location is excellent, staff are friendly and professional, Room was spacious and with the "Club" room, it had all the amenities. It was very clean, and we ate in the bar which was a pleasant experience, and the cocktails were of a very good quality and reasonable. Our only issue is limited on site parking, though there is a NCP next door, queuing was long, and we did not book a breakfast but decided to have one in the morning and it is very expensive; and average.
