This is a good base in York, near the station, and walkable to the city. Also fantastic rooftop bar with view of the city. Rooms are spacious, beds comfy for a good night sleep.

We had an upgrade when we arrived it was a very lovely suite. We also booked breakfast and got a drinks voucher for 2 cocktails. It was booked for my sisters 70th birthday which was in June and she was given a glass of prosseco. A very enjoyable stay and breakfast was very nice just a bit expensive.

The property was very central. The room was a reasonable size for one night with everything you needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good with large towels. We were disappointed to be in an accessible room which meant the shower was a wet room and the whole area ended up quite wet once the shower was used.

We had a 6th floor Standard Double Room. It was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the mini-fridge, magnified makeup mirror, and the rainfall shower was a lovely touch. I was able to make use of the gym in the basement, whch has a varety of options ncluding weights and a row machine. We ddnt make use of the on-site food options, but they seemed to be good. It was a good location to easly access good restaurants, and a number of landmarks.
