The room was great and we enjoyed the rooftop bar. It’s a convenient location, lots of good local restaurants. Only qualms were the pillows (could not get comfy at all - weird texture) and the noise from the construction next door waking me up around 8am. Overall I’d stay again (but bring my own pillows).

We didn’t have Breakfast this time , It’s a lovely modern hotel with great staff, Everything we required was within walking distance , sadly no discounts available now from the NCP car park close by(£40) for 24hrs , You would need to book early for hotel parking as they only have 7 places

A gem of a hotel for meeting up with friends. A short walk from the railway station and a great position for York centre -a perfect position for our needs! Super friendly staff, lovely room, cosy areas to sit in the bar and delicious food in the restaurant. We shall return!

Star deducted for lack of parking. Although claiming to have parking, there are only a very small number of spaces available and they have to be pre booked. This should be clear when booking but it wasn’t. Hotel itself was lovely, clean stylish and well equipped rooms. Breakfast was lovely, hot food is made to order, not a buffet.
