Nice pool and adjacent grill. Great location. So much fun with the family!

The room had a damp foul odor upon entering like wet carpet was enclosed for a while. I tried to overlook it but then I saw a large cockroach crawling up the wall in the room while getting ready for bed. The property was prompt to send staff at 9 pm to spray the room but that wasn’t safe or smart response seeing that it would mean me sleeping in the ‘odorless’ fumes. It was also surprisingly not quiet either but that related to the neighbors which couldn’t be helped. Every chair drag, toilet usage or early shower could be heard. Too many aggravations. Maybe it was once great but now it’s dated. I checked out early and told the front desk who refunded the remainder of my stay, without argument, but there were no apologies or incentives. She was just in a rush to check me out. I loved that there was a full kitchen and laundry, easy parking, check in was easy and friendly etc but the room was well below my standards. Later I received a call asking if I’d like to sign up as a travel member. They definitely didn’t communicate as my response was “absolutely not”.

Loved this property. The room was surprisingly spacious. The pool was the best and love that they had a pool bar. My only complaint is the parking fee to self park on the property. $30/night which we weren’t expecting.

The day of our stay we received a text stating that the rental we had booked was not available due to HVAC issues. They offered us a downgraded room which we accepted and were waiting for confirmation of the details for our amended stay. Mind you, this booking was for a 7 person family. We accepted a 2 bedroom with 2 queen, 1 king (2 full beds pushed together to make a “king”, left no room for cuddling, center of the bed dipped and separated, very uncomfortable), and a pull out couch. Half way through our 2 hr drive there we got another call from hotels.com who stated the rooms were not available and they were going to get us booked at another location. I asked about the other rooms that were offered by Home & House Vacations & they then confirmed we were set with a downgraded room & offered $100 hotels.com credit, that someone from HHV would contact us with entry codes 1 hr prior to check in. We called HHV 45 mins before check in, after driving 2 hour to PHX & was told the rooms weren’t available and that hotels.com was relocating us. Frustrated w/ HHV we called hotels.com and we’re finally able to get things corrected. A lot of avoidable stress could have been rectified with better communication between the two services. We were worried bout where our 7 person family would stay after traveling 2 hours, being told one thing then another multiple times. Overall, unneeded stress but a nice stay once we did arrive.

This hotel doesn't get a lot of business, so some of the things don't get maintained as you might expect in a hotel. I was one of the only guests during my 4 day stay. There was no workable fitness center, no breakfast, and no ice. The pool water looked cloudy. On the plus side, the room itself was decent and clean, and the AC worked. It was quiet, and the courtyard looks nice at night. The staff was very friendly and attentive to my requests. It was not what I expected based on the pictures and description so that was a disappointment, however I got a good deal so it was okay. I think this place has potential if they keep working on it. I like to support locally owned businesses rather than chains.

Place was absolutely spotless inside as well as the grounds . Folks out and about all day doing maintenance be it grounds or otherwise. Hotel , maintenance bar Staff all treated you when passing by , very receptive to needs and friendly.
