“Liked because, being a single woman there, the staff were friendly and helpful, the property was clean and the food was good, and I felt safe.”

“We paid for a suite - from the photos - we were expecting a roll top bath in the room. What we got was a small bath in a mouldy shower room with a couple of plastic cups, a capsule of long life milk and a mattress that probably predated the hotel. Staff were kind and friendly but clearly exhausted. The hotel room price did not represent good value for money - it’s possible we bought during a busy season. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”
