“Delightful accommodation in a beautiful village pub. As a family of three, we stayed in the Superior Suite, Room 4. Our window view was a charming old church. Room/linen was spotless, towels were hotel quality, powerful shower, comfy beds, amazing cooked breakfast and kind hosts. No pub noise and we stayed on a Fri and Sat night. It's very quiet. Safe car parking right outside too. Dog friendly. Great location if visiting Cotswolds/Diddly Squat and The Farmer's Dog. Wish we could have stayed...

“This is my second visit (2025 and 2026) to the King's Head Inn. Suited my purpose very well. Clean and comfortable; good breakfast; good beer in the bar. Value for money. If I'm in Warwick at the same time next year I'll probably book here again.”

“Our second stay at Moss Cottage and this time we were welcomed by Bill, Peter’s colleague (hello Peter!). This is a very homely place and the welcome is equally warm. The rooms are very clean with good sized en-suite bathrooms. Bill prepares home cooked breakfast at a time agreed so you know it isn’t food that’s been left on a hot plate for an hour beforehand!! “It needs a crib sheet in each room telling of breakfast times, emergency tel no's etc. The room was very dark. Bathroom OK but would benefit from some shelves to put toiletries on etc. Breakfasts were very good with a wide choice. Dining in was v good but we felt overpriced. The whole experience was good but felt at £180 it represnted poor value.”

“This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. Potential guests should be aware that you will have to climb narrow stairs, and there is no lift. Also, those addicted to air conditioning. should know that the upstairs rooms can get warm.
