“Excellent base to visit York. A pleasant 30 minute walk along the river into York. Property was very clean and warm. Owner very attentive. Kindly left milk, tea, coffee and biscuits which we were grateful for. ”

Bit of road noise as it's a busy road, a few hair dryers would have been nice, description said it was near a shop, but not the case.”
