“the Barge is a pub with accomodation in a very good location, about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Although the staff are welcoming and the room was clean, the overall appearance of the pub is that it is shabby and run down. The carpet on the staircase leading to the bedrooms was grubby and had a large hole in it. outside the garden furniture has seen better days and there is a canopy which has come adrift from its fixings and been lashed to the outside bar. “El estacionamiento está muy incómodo para ingresar. Además cuando entramos no había lugar y tuvimos que dejarlo en los estacionamientos públicos. El desayuno estuvo bien. Te dan un menú y hay algunas pocas cosas para agarrar estilo Buffet. Pero si buscas el English Breakfast vas a salir contento. La habitación amplia. Baño con bañera. Tener en cuenta que hay que subir por escaleras y pasar por el bar que está abajo del hotel.”

“A nice stay. A lovely pub right in the middle of Frome. We stayed here to go to an event at the Cheese and Grain which was perfect. Just be aware that as the rooms are part of an active pub you may get some noise on busier nights”

“We had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean. We had breakfast included, I'm so glad that we did, the cooked choice was really good, including my partner's favourite chopped avocado. There was also a good buffet selection, I really enjoyed the blackcurrant and yoghurt pot and the fresh fruit pot.”

“A lovely room. Light airy with big bathroom, comfy bed, excellent complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits in spacious room, with great view. Breakfast and evening meal all homemade/cooked. High standard and delicious.”

“Muy lindo hotel en la carretera muy cerca de Bath. Hay habitaciones en el edificio antiguo y al fondo de la propiedad hay más habitaciones en una construcción nueva. El restaurant es muy bueno con un desayuno incluido también excelente. Las habitaciones nuevas están al lado de la línea del tren por lo que se escucha pero no alcanza a ser molesto. ”

“We loved it. The George is so warm and welcoming (as opposed to perfect & swanky). The landlady was very friendly and eager to make sure we were happy and that attitude ran through all the staff who were all very kind. Dinner by the river was a highlight. The village doesn't have a lot of entertainment but it's charming and you can while away some time feeding the ducks at the castle (the shop sells duck feed).”
