“A lovely place to stay . The hot tub was amazing the water was lovely and hot . It was very clean , we had everything we needed . The farm dogs were lovely they come to greet us when we got there . The owners are very friendly . The location is stunning , it’s surrounded by fields and there are donkeys , cows nearby which made it really nice . Would highly recommend staying there . Thanks for making it a lovely stay for us .”

“I arrived after 5pm and had not realised Sykes cottages were dealing with the property. It took me two hours to get in because of email issues and also no one to get hold of after hours from Sykes. This needs looking into. The property itself was well worth the hassle I had been through and I will definitely go back for a second visit. It was clean and very quiet. Only issue was recycling I didn’t know what went where. Maybe a sheet telling you what to do. But apart from this would recommend.”

“We had a wonderful stay in this real southern Lake District gem of a cottage – thank you Jules (and Alistair)! It's even lovelier than the photos show! Almost any facilities and extras you could want or need were already provided, with such care and attention to detail across all the areas. If there had been anything missing or not quite right (which there wasn't), then a quick ask would be all that's needed. “Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend...
