Vacations Close To The Spa at Puntacana Resort

The Club level attention to detail and impeccable service made this a most memorable vacation. Requests were attended to within minutes and communicated properly. Kudos to Francheska at our Club desk for all of her assistance.

So beautiful! There are activities every day, so you never get bored. The food is great, but the service is even better! The hotel itself is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and everything is so clean and well maintained. And whatever you do, do not miss Bastami Restaurant… it’s soooo delicious! Definitely one of the highlights of our stay!

We booked a two-week stay at Majestic Mirage Punta Cana to celebrate our anniversary, and I was deeply disappointed with the overall experience. Our room had visible dust, air-conditioning problems, extremely weak shower pressure, and long waits for warm water. Most seriously, the shower fixture had visible rust and corrosion, and while I was showering, a rust particle fell directly into my eye, leaving it visibly red and irritated. We documented both the condition of the shower and my eye with photographs. For about eight days, huge piles of seaweed remained along the beach with a strong unpleasant smell. My wife was also repeatedly bitten by small biting insects in the areas affected by the seaweed while she was still trying to enter and use the water. Beach towels were sometimes unavailable, leaving us to sit directly on hard loungers that were not adequately clean. We also waited about an hour for our luggage after arrival, experienced weak and unstable Wi-Fi, poor signage throughout the resort, a malfunction with our room entrance door, restaurant restrictions because of the long-pants dress code, and inconsistent assistance from the concierge. What disappointed me most was the way management handled our concerns. We repeatedly received explanations instead of meaningful solutions and spent far too much of our anniversary vacation dealing with staff, management, Expedia, and different hotel departments.
