“Great place, great breakfast. Rooms were really lovely. Could be a little noicey at nite when due to get up for a early trip, with the bar just the next floor below. Really lovely place, would stay here again.”

“We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas.”

“the Barge is a pub with accomodation in a very good location, about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Although the staff are welcoming and the room was clean, the overall appearance of the pub is that it is shabby and run down. The carpet on the staircase leading to the bedrooms was grubby and had a large hole in it. outside the garden furniture has seen better days and there is a canopy which has come adrift from its fixings and been lashed to the outside bar. “Lovely stay , Kurt and Joanne made us feel welcome, we had a lovely meal in the Railway carriage , wouldn’t recommend the mixed grill if you’ve got a small appetite, would recommend and definitely stay here again”
