“My wife and I had a very pleasant stay. For us it was a last-minute getaway. The price was very reasonable. The property was well kept. The innkeepers were very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. The breakfasts were very good. The location is about ten minutes away from the beach at Nags Head. The steps are quite steep but as mentioned elsewhere quite typical of the time period the home was built in early 1900's. I'm 73 and had no problem with carrying suitcases up the stairs. “This is a charming old inn in a convenient location. It doesn’t have many amenities but it was fine for the price. It was very convenient to have a code for the rooms as opposed to a key. There was coffee on site but not breakfast. We found out on our second day that we could get a voucher for breakfast at a local restaurant. I wish I had known the first morning we were there. The rooms are small but fine for 2 days. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but we really enjoyed staying there.”

“Our room was immaculate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t fancy, but we were not there for that. The parking was adequate. The view from our room was gorgeous.”
