Riverview Vacations

Everything was nice an comfortable

The blanket on my bed had three different spots of blood. It looked like it was used many times and never washed. I told the people at the front desk and they gave me another set of sheets and blankets and told me put them on the bed myself instead of housekeeping making the change. The next day I brought this to the attention of the head of housekeeping who said she was sorry this dirty blanket was on my bed. Before checking out I also brought this to the attention of the hotel General Manager who agreed with me that the blanket was dirty and should not have been on the bed. I would not recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for the Detroit Free Press Marathon weekend as it is convienietely located close to the start/finish area of the race. I arrived early before regular check-in and was lucky to be able to check-in to my room early without any issues and receptionist shared with me all the local recommendations. The only amenity I really used was the gym and it was very nice and clean, better than other hotels I've seen before. Minor mishap did happen during my stay with the light in the bathroom but it didn't bother me much so I only brought it up when I checked out.
