“Rooms ok, although avoid 201 we asked to be moved as only a skylight no opening windows and no AC. Ended up in 208 over looking the road. Tables in bar and restaurant were sticky as were the floors in both. Breakfast at £12.50 was OK, didn't rate the sausages, everything else was OK.. Staff were very friendly and helpful, quick and easy change of room.”

“There was nothing we didn't like about the Hotel. The whole hotel has had a massive upgrade / renovation and for the cost of the accommodation, it represents top value. We ate at the restaurant , ( reluctantly ) after reading some less favorable reviews , and decided the reviewers, who had left those reviews must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. “Nice room and breakfast”

“Breakfast was very good and in a lovely peaceful garden. Staff in the hotel were fantastic, really helpful even under pressure. It was horribly hot the weekend that we were there (unusual for Cardiff) but they did everything possible to make us comfortable with fans (no air-conditioning).”

“Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre. We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.”
