This is a very good hotel, location, price, service, excellent restaurant and amenities. Close to the train station and to the center of town. Stay there if you travel to Cardiff.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Its proximity to the train station was appealing to me, but I liked the location for many other reasons as well — close to shopping, restaurants and sights while still being quiet. The staff was excellent and the spa a wonderful indulgence. I was in a suite and loved the huge sofa to relax in!

The check in and welcome was lovely and personal. Our room was huge, spotless and the bed was really comfortable. Well stocked with good quality coffee bags and tea and the toiletries smelt amazing. The shower was big, powerful and immaculate. Good breakfast buffet with artisan bread and fresh pastries and the staff were polite and cheerful. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Lovely room. Lovely Hotel building feeling luxurious. We added breakfast for a reduced £18pp on arrival. Breakfast was nice but not spectacular. I wouldn't have been happy if we had paid £28 ph which was the usual price. But £28 was reasonable. Lovely stay on the whole.

Fantastic hotel! From check in to check out and everything in between- absolutely smashing! Staff were really lovely, genuinely pleasant, efficient and helpful. Rooms were beautiful, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Beds/pillows are very comfy, bathroom is a dream- products smell lovely and a great power shower. Theres a lovely outside courtyard area. We would/will return here without hesitation. Hotel is perfectly placed for train station and castle and city centre. Thank you again :)

A wonderful old-world experience of exceptional service and luxury, The hotel is conveniently located to be able to explore Cardiff on foot from that park and castle to shops and restaurants. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and quiet looking out onto an inner courtyard. The spa is also highly recommended as well as their 5* breakfast.
