“1 Star – Not Recommended This is not really a hotel but an old countryside pub with a few guest rooms. The location is extremely remote, and it is pitch black outside at night with very little lighting. The building is old, the rooms feel dated, and the overall experience was disappointing. If you’re expecting a comfortable hotel, you will likely be disappointed. I would not stay here again.”

“Lovely rooms. Gorgeous garden. Such an authentic experience staying above a pub. We felt part of the village by the end of our stay! Sam and her husband were incredible hosts and his food was exceptionally good! We’d go out of our way to stay here again.”

“This pub is a really well looked after and the rooms are super comfortable... lovely bed, large rooms... The breakfast is top quality and a great comfortable experience... The only things to note are, it is not as close to Henley as I thought, it was about 4-5 miles away and there is NO mobile reception in the pub or the rooms... if you need to make or receive any calls, you have to walk around the car park or the village for a reception...! Apart from that, I would definately go back and stay,...

Our room was spotless, and the entire estate was beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We felt very secure throughout our stay. “room was of good standard staff were very polite and accommodating enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again / one small suggestion maybe a mop of some sort in the on suite as floor stayed very wet most of the time after showering thank you ”
