Lovely pub in a serene setting, with one of the most attractive beer gardens I've visited. Room was neally nice, as was the food. I really couldn't fault it.
Rooms were very nicely made up & comfortable. Food was excellent & staff even better.
Bit of a gem of a country pub in my opinion, would happily stay again.
2nd time I’ve stayed here. First time for work. Second time, pleasure.
Great atmosphere in the pub and restaurant. Good quality food and drinks. Excellent service. Well appointed.
Love the converted stable block accommodation. Clean and well presented.
The room was in poor condition. The toilet badly stained. The bathroom floor had not been cleaned. The woodwork damaged and unsightly on the plus side the staff were friendly and we had a nice meal . About 15 minute drive to Henley. Playhatch itself has nothing to offer so you need to drive out.

Lovely stay at The Crown, really friendly staff the rooms are separate from the pub so nice and quiet, really comfortable bed all the amenities were superb. We didn’t eat there in the evening as had a party to go to but 14 of us had the carvery on the Sunday and I can honestly say it’s the best carvery I’ve had. Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again, just need my friend to have another party.
We loved our dinners on 2 nights, breakfasts were very good also. The decor was interesting & authentic. Parking was very good.

The pub's in a very quiet place and the bed was comfortable. The food is also good - we had dinner and breakfast. It's a charming place but there is a lack of attention to detail, eg, the hot taps in the toilets off the dining room did not work, we were not offered a separate plate or knife with our toast, the shower head badly needed descaling, the room decor and furniture appeared tired and worn in places. At this price point, we expected better. A good place to dine but not stay at the moment.
