“the staff were excellent if you could find them one person doing check in and running the bar remembering the hotel was full for a wedding breakfast food excellent but no staff and the food kept running low eggs bacon etc AND AS FOR THE HEAT NO AIRCON SOME ROOMS YOU COULD NOT OPEN THE WIDOW OR JUST OPEN THEM EVERY GUEST COMPLAINED THEY GOT NO SLEEP IT WAS UNBEARABLE this used to be a beautiful place now am sorry to say awful but the grounds are beautiful I well never stay there again...

“I spent five days at the lodge. The staff is excellent. Most have been working at the lodge for 20+ years. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was small but functional. I appreciated being able to open the windows at night for fresh air. The pub is first rate. I strongly suggest having breakfast there.
