“A nice hotel, well appointed in the public areas. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Boti the chef. The room was small however there was a separate study/dressing room area. There is a somewhat terrifying lift to the upper floors. A good substantial breakfast was included. It is situated in the town centre very close to the railway station. ”

“Charming historic building but inside there was a modern hotel with clean and comfortable, well-maintained rooms. It also has ample parking. There is a pleasant bar area and restaurant. They served a good buffet breakfast with a range of food to suit all tastes (fruit, yoghurt, cereals, bread/toast, pastries, cold meats and cheeses and also a full cooked breakfast). “The room was large, bright and clean with the added bonus of a fan. Staff were polite and helpful. Evening meal was superb. If we are in Harpenden again we will definitely stay here again.”

“Primer día nos tuvieron que cambiar de habitación 2 veces por diferentes causas ( no funcionaba la tv y ventana rota) todos los días teníamos que bajar a recepción por que no funcionaba la tarjeta para abrír la puerta y el último día llegamos a la habitación y no había toallas con lo cual toco bajar una segunda vez. “Great location with easy access to the area. Really helpful staff. Food was well prepared and tasty. Rooms had all that you needed with some nice wee extras such as bottled water, coffee bags. Tissues toiletries”

“Small hotel with very nice staff. Lots of great restaurants in the area and we highly recommend visiting the used book store down the road. Was nice to stay outside of the bustle of London.”
