“Wonderful stay! Accommodation was very clean, well equipped and lovely and warm after a day walking in the rain! Food was great and staff very attentive. Wonderful views, very peaceful and the cabana was a bit different which the kids loved especially going up the ladder to bed.”

I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward.”

“An amazing property in an idyllic location, peaceful and quiet. Super close to so many outdoor activities we were spoilt for choice. We were a party of 7 adults and the property felt spacious with a well stocked kitchen, outdoor eating area and large living room. Communication was great, clear friendly and incredibly helpful. “Possibly one of the best hotels I've stayed in a while. Staff were lovely. The pub on site had a real community feel and did a lovely pie and mash. Was very close to Snowdon making a sunrise hike possible and the amenities such as water and snacks were lovely. Overall one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in and would recommend to travelers in the area”

“The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening.”

“Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee. If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!”

“The room was terrible with a smashed bathroom basin, so I asked for another room. The 2nd room had a smelly damp, mouldy bathroom. There were no common areas. The bar/restaurant areas were kept closed/locked. Reception staff were not at the hotel full time. Only sporadically during the day.”

“It was perfect for our stay. Firstly, it was only 5 minutes walk from Harlech Railway station, which was great as we came by train (the ride in along the coast is gorgeous by the way). It is also very convenient for the amazing beach, the wonderful castle & the bustling little town & shops. Our room was clean, quiet & a good size, with a lovely view of the castle.
