“Our grandson said everything especially his mezzanine bedroom was amazing ! And for us the cabana suite its location and view, everything spotlessly clean. The whole of the park and facilities, we will recommend to all our friends.”

“Lovely property in stunning location with lovely touches-Prosecco, cake, “emergency meal”, etc My only problem was in terms of getting information about access/key. I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward.”

“An amazing property in an idyllic location, peaceful and quiet. Super close to so many outdoor activities we were spoilt for choice. We were a party of 7 adults and the property felt spacious with a well stocked kitchen, outdoor eating area and large living room. Communication was great, clear friendly and incredibly helpful. “I really enjoyed my one night stay at Y Pengwern. The bar was friendly when we checked in, and when I was shown my room was amazed at how big it was. I was backpacking and there was plenty of room to reorganise my kit, and the bed was large and very comfortable. After a long day's walk we were looking forward to food, and were very happy with the big hearty meals we had in the restaurant. “Michelle was excellent and made our trip to Wales feel cosy, it felt like staying at a home more than a hotel. The building was lovely and clean, highly recommend, nothing was too much of an ask and I would definitely recommend to friends and family. ”

“Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...

“The food here is amazing and you can't beat the location for touring North Wales. Janna was the star of the place. That said, the room needs serious maintenance. The mattress was completely shot—sagging with metal springs that poked into my body every time I moved. For me, the most important part of a trip is to have a good night to sleep and it baffles me that this hotel has this Kind of mattresses. The pillars were OK though.
