The room was mainly clean but some fluff in the cupboard. Staff were very helpful and there is plenty of parking on site. Beautiful area at the base of Snowdon just a few minutes walk from the train.

Great staff Cosy hotel great breakfast The lift was out of order which was a bit of a nuisance and the fan in the bathroom was rather noisy which made having a relaxing bath out of the question I would recommend the hotel as it’s perfectly situated for Snowdon

Excellent stay! The parking was a huge plus and especially important as my husband was travelling by motorbike. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good, and we also had a delicious evening meal from the bar. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Thank you – we would happily stay again!

Great Hotel and well located in Eryri to give you access to; Yr Wyddda, Carneddau and Glydeeau mountains. The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The food was also good and the bar was reasonably priced for the area. It’s a 5 minute walk from Llanberis village centre and Llyn Padarn.

Firstly, location is perfect. Just on the edge of the village and the start of the Llanberis path is right outside, so no driving or parking charges if you intend walking Snowdon on this route. Staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast was pretty good. However, the building itself could do with some updating and our room was pretty tired in terms of decor. We stayed in the Coach House building so it might not be the same for other rooms but it looked like the last update was a couple of decades ago. That said, everything worked, the amenities were there and it was comfortable enough. So, as long as you accept that the location means you are paying a premium price whilst getting poorer accommodation standard than in the general area then it's fair. We stayed 2 nights.

Lovely gardens. Great location to walk Snowdon or get the train. Particularly wonderful food, bravo to the team. Room we stayed in was a box room, absolutely tiny, and the toilet/shower room was not a full arms width from side to side, and for a big lad that was most uncomfortable. The window in our room opened about an inch then fell back closed again, so no air was able to get in or out of a stiflingly hot room. We noticed other rooms did have windows that opened a lot, note to self!!! For any future stay I will talk direct to the hotel to get the room I want, there’s just not enough information on Expedia, I feel. The restaurant was busy which is a good sign, as I say, the food really was excellent. In the village of Llanberis, I don’t know that you could do better.

Good location but half of the Llanberis attractions were closed for a variety of reasons which was disappointing. Large hotel catering for coach trips, food in the bar was good and the restaurant food was delicious however the breakfast was average as although we had a nice room to eat in the buffet breakfast was served in the coach trip room which wasn’t ideal. Our room in the Coach house was very small for almost £200 a night but it was clean and comfortable.

The Royal Victoria Hotel gets so much right it hardly seems worth mentioning anything it falls down on- but for info I'll mention the TV in the lounge was broken so no World Cup, and the room was warm at night- but that's a common experience across the industry. The food, service, gardens, cleanliness and interiors were superb. This was our second visit; standards still as high as ever. And the food at the restaurant - it's knockout. A credit to the region.
