“The welcome from Imi on reception started our stay, he was so engaging and helpful and a credit to the hotel. Our room was clean and served us well. The only thing we needed and not provided in the rooms was body lotion although interestingly it is in the public bathrooms. The restaurant in the golf club building was very nice. “Rather an odd property, at the race course. Took ages for staff to assist with check-in. Rooms were clean and comfortable, although no air-con. A fan was provided thankfully. We had a poor experience at the restaurant for dinner, staff were slow and didn't seem interested in serving us. Food was not impressive, either over or under-cooked. However, the cooked breakfast in the morning saved the stay, it was very good and quick.”

“The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names.
