“I had room # 23 at the back. I was pulling a camper, was 37 feet long from front of my car to the rear of the camper. The clerk didn't tell me I would have trouble turning around at the back. I almost didn't make it out with the very limited room at the back. He should know better next time another guest pulling a trailer takes a room at the back. All in all the room was clean and comfortable. And I learned the hard way not to buy cancellation insurance as the insurance company is a 3rd party...

“The view is good, but the cottage is dirty and smelly. The most bizarre part is that you have to pay for bedding and towels separately, and those items aren't included by default. We noticed it in their invoice on the date we were supposed to check it and had to call and ask to add bedding. Long story short, stay away unless you enjoy a kids' camp style room with a dirty toilet.”

“This was such a great place to stay. Nicole and Nacho have done a wonderful job with this vintage building. Everything you need is available to you. The room was so wonderful and paid a lot of attention to detail and even though you’re in a small space, it doesn’t feel small. Also the breakfast bar is full of nice items and homemade goodies- nice way to start your day. Keurig and kettle in your room with assortment of coffees and teas. Honestly just pure joy in this room. Also the whole building...

“Kenora was booked for all hotels, in the summertime, this is often due to the construction season, festival season, fishing season and so on. I booked this booking last minute as I needed accommodations for 3 people. Not only was he host super accommodating he had very good communication with me. 10/10 would recommend. The gentlemen who stayed said the resort was beautiful, it was clean and it was easy to get to and accommodated a 5-Ton truck for overnights. Thank you!”

“Couldn't ask for more. We've stayed at about a dozen different cottages in northern Ontario and Lakeside Cottages in Bruce Mines is the best. The beds are comfy, the price is reasonable, the cottage comes fully stocked (no upcharge for bedsheets like some places!!!), the kitchen is full and also stocked (salt and pepper and oil and coffee!!!), the cottages are clean and pretty, the view is amazing, the firewood is onsite and included (not $20 for a tiny bundle like some places...), reasonable...
