“My room was on the ground floor right next to the entrance and a lounge which I think was for the staff. It was very noisy! The tv was on and someone was talking loudly on their phone - I needed an early night as I wasn’t feeling well. That didn’t happen. As a woman travelling alone I was not comfortable with a ground floor room close to the entrance - I would have liked to open the window, but did not feel secure enough. “A classic bed and breakfast accommodation. Room was spacious and well presented with a large comfortable bed. The bar was very traditional and the restaurant very comfortable with an extensive menu. Evening meal and the breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The whole stay was an enjoyable experience.”

“The room was clean. The bathroom a little inconvenient (especially the shower, which is hard to use without spraying everywhere). The staff are very pleasant. The breakfast is not great, especially if you choose the non full english breakfast options.”

Breakfast was lovely, as was the lady serving it. I was checked out by one of the owners, who was very friendly and helpful. So I can highly recommend The Two Lifeboats!”
