“Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided. Offered more tea/coffee & toast. The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area...

“Beautiful place to stay, very comfortable and inviting 😊😊 wish we could have stayed longer ”

“Everything was spot on. Thank you”

“Lovely friendly staff, always remembering that I stayed before. We get the room we have requested. We order a vegetarian roast which is outstanding, food delicious and hot. Plenty of parking. Plenty of parking. I would recommend booking a table for dinner as soon as possible, this venue is very popular with the locals. We would definitely stay at the Recruiting Sergeant again.”
