“The property doesn't have its own parking. There is free parking available on the street parallel to the entrance but this wasn't clear from the description. I appreciated the keyless nature of the accommodation. The gate lock can be a bit tricky to open. The room was clean and the bathroom was fantastic. They provide some food in the small lounge but I couldn't see anything gluten free.”

“We stayed with Sharon and Steve while walking the Two Moors Way and they were brilliant from start to finish. They went above and beyond to look after us, nothing was too much trouble after a long day on the trail. The food was excellent, proper home-cooked breakfast that was exactly what we needed to refuel. Sharon and Steve are genuinely lovely hosts, warm, welcoming and easy to talk to. The location is great and we'd happily stay again and would recommend them to anyone passing through.”

“A dying village in the middle of the moors. The property was very old and while an attempt had been made to bring it back to life, the result is a very dated premises with poor plumbing. The hosts were very friendly and informative. Access was given the the outdoor kitchen, hot tub and garden.”

“The main reason for my 2 star rating was the unacceptable noise at night. Sounded like a immersion heater or similar going beserk. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine. I was in room 2. I left very early as it was so bad, I just couldn't stand the noise. The hotel wasn't too bad, but ifyou can't sleep what's the point of staying? Not recommended. I'm glad it was only one night.”

“The Berberry is a great place to stay, just 10 minutes walk from the station or the seafront, and offers a very comfortable bed with a great breakfast to set you up for the day ahead!!! “Our first mini break away alone, in 13 years and it didn't dissapoint. Anne is the most lovely host, so organised, courteous and kind, nothing was too much trouble. We were a little hot in the small double room, however Anne quickly provided a fan that assisted well. Breakfast was very tasty and scheduled for a time to suit us.
