We had also walked 15 mins to the pier and 15 mins to Windermere town centre.Its proprietors, Chris & Robin are attentive and hospitable hosts who ensure we have a pleasant and memorable stay in Windermere, giving us advice to make our way around. “The Sun is in an amazing location overlooking the beautiful village of Coniston. It is also a stunning old building, full of character and charm. Tha staff cant do enough for you. ”

“Our room (number 4) was bright and airy, dual aspect and extremely spacious. Beautifully decorated with quality art deco style accessories. A huge comfortable bed and immaculate shower room en-suite. An unexpected surprise was a small fridge containing bottled water, juice, porridge pots and cereal bars - all of which were replaced each day.Our only disappointment was that the Bath Tap and Chowder Co. was closed for the duration of our stay.”
