“Good property just that the last night our room was not clean.”

“We only stayed at Ashbourne House for one night and it was very nice. Lovely room with a Comfortable bed, great shower and towels. Plenty if tea and coffee, and if you ran out you could get more from a dish on the landing also a sweet treat if you needed it, which I thought was a nice touch. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off. We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...

Staff couldnt do enough and great value for the rooms, Breakfast was lovely too! Only 20 minutes away from York City Centre will definitely be staying again”

“I loved it. Bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was 10/10. I am so glad I stayed at this location! 5 min walk to the historic center of town but quiet at the B&B.”

“A great stay at The George. A warm welcome, great comfy family room and wonderful breakfast.”
