“We stayed for 2 nights in the family room which had a lovely comfortable king size bed, ensuite with large walk in shower and air con which was a God send. Very clean and quiet. The staff are lovely, food and drinks reasonably priced, breakfast choices good. The beer garden needs some attention but is secure if you have children or a dog. Steep stairs to the rooms which were a bit difficult with our elderly dog but over all a great stay. Please note, although very dog friendly they do charge...

“We had a room on the front, no air, room not aired, constant road noise all through the night. Mattress stained, carpet stained. Tables sticky in the restaurant - avoided breakfast.”

The bed was very old with person shape dents in the mattress The owner came out immediately to fix a light but as he couldn't reassure me that the other rooms were any better I left after one night of no sleep.”
