The pub is a bit run down but our room was lovely. Big, clean and overlooked the seafront. Shower was poor, very weak flow. Free parking, which swayed the booking for us. Nice staff. Hotel right on the seafront. No good for guests with mobility issues, due to stairs to rooms. We would definitely stay again.

Good value with free parking

Hotel offers free parking at the carpark next door if ypu park in the marked spaces. Easy to checkin online before you arrive, although they did take the payment the day begore which was a bit naughty as it was supposed to be on the day. Comfortable clean room eitb partisl seaview and a bath. However, the bath took ages to fill, and the bed was a linked double and one of the mattresses was higher than tbe other so it was a bit uncomfortable in.the middle.

Really great place to stay - lovely big family room with very comfy beds. Excellent location with free parking - make sure you park in the allocated spaces though! Warm and friendly manager who was really welcoming. Can't fault!

Staff were amazing. We had an evening meal and breakfast and it was absolutely yummy! So nice! Would definitely recommend eating here. Room was huge. Very quiet at night. Would stay here again.

Seen better days

Wouldn't rush back, the rooms have seen better days and were basic at best. Bedding on the bed appeared clean however spare pillows in the wardrobe were dirty. Bathroom was functional but low water pressure in shower. Whole place needed a refurb. We paid extra for breakfast the next morning but I would advise going elsewhere if you have the choice.

Our stay at the Old Colonial Hotel.

We had a four night stay at the Old Colonial Hotel Weston-super-Mare, the room was big with plenty of storage, and a large comfortable bed, good choice of food, free car parking a plus, one complaint is the condition of the front of Hotel which is run down and urgent need of repair, which could put guests of.
