“This mountaintop venue above the clouds is extraordinary. The only way to arrive here is through the cog-rail train or the gondola. The crowds without hotel reservations are there only during the day but leave on the last trip down around 5:30 so the mornings and evenings are quiet. Hiking trails abound. The restaurant serves excellent food. The rooms are basic but clean and with everything you need. ”

“Staff was hands down the most kind we encountered! Very helpful and willing to answer questions. Rooms were well equipped and breakfast was included. This place was amazing. 5 min walk to trains and staff gave you a city pass to utilize during your stay. Room was cozy and clean. Loved the meringue cookies in the room! Great location.”
