“Had a great stay at the property, which is in a nice small village outside of Carcassonne. The breakfast was very nice, with various breads and jams fruits and such. The bathroom was quite large and the room had ample pace and such for clothes. There is a restaurant about 50m away that is very good. Probably the best part is that the proprietrix is wonderful.”

It’s only a 10-minute drive from Carcassonne, and Ubers had no trouble picking us up right at the gate quickly. ​The château itself is stunning and beautifully restored, packed with character and cool features like vintage restored cars in the entrance garage, a working old-school jukebox near the hall and a characterful staircase up to the upper rooms. ​The Royal Suite was huge, spotless, and had incredible views...

“Had a lovely time here with Lisa and Chris. Very nice owners, accommodating and knowledgeable. Fresh continental breakfast every morning, set us up for the day along with use of a coffee machine. The location is quiet and air conditioning in rooms (which was very much needed) Short walk into the centre (5/10mins) or a nice stroll to the castle (25/40mins pace dependant). Train station roughly 15mins with easy links to Toulouse (40/50mins) or Narbonne (30mins) Plenty of places to eat and drink...
