This hotel is super clean. It has public bath, laundry, and a restaurant. The location is close to a subway station. There are so many nice restaurants nearby. And, the staff was super friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended for tourists.

Great hotel, great location. We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast, the only fault was the breakfast as a westerner burgers fried chicken and pork skewers and chips are not for us , no toast or scrambled egg in sight shame as this let us down.

We selected this hotel to experience the Japanese ambiance during our stay in kyoto. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The green tea and face mask and lotions they provided were too good. Their welcome drink was out of the world. They provide unlimited coffee, latte, juice and wine with crackers round the clock. Staff at reception speak English. So it was very easy to communicate. Ideally located .Kyoto Station is 15 minutes walk. Along that way you find a temple, Gift store, McDonald's and Burger King. A big thank you to TAKAHASHI for her excellent customer service. The most beautiful hotel with outstanding amenities and staff. The location was excellent right in the heart of a historic Kyoto neighborhood. We really enjoyed the history behind the building and how they preserved the elementary school memorabilia. The guest lounge is a wonderful option for afternoon tea or happy hour drinks. Breakfast was outstanding and all the staff were truly top notch. Would definitely go back!
