The onsen here was amazing…while a bit dated, the view from the pool over the water was great. Rooms were comfortable, I stayed in Key 1 which had kitchen and laundry facilities. I would have preferred a kettle in my room but the set up was good.

Staff was great. Room was borderline terrible. Maybe the most uncomfortable hotel room I've ever stayed in (no elevator, one small desk chair in a room for three people, no bed lights or light in that part of the room (felt like a cave), unfinished wall and ceiling, no general table to eat or put things on, and a desk that would barely suit a kid in grammar school. That said, the onsen was fantastic and saved the day. The WiFi was also effective and worked very well. For the price though, this hotel was a massive disappointment. I visit Shirahama 2-3 times a year. Will not stay at this hotel again. Sorry

Great location in Shirahama not far from Shirahama beach, about a 10 minute walk. The main hotel building is next door about a 1 minute walk. You can access the onsen in the hotel building. As well as other facilities in the hotel. The accommodation area has its own self service kitchen. There was also a bar but unfortunately the bar was not operational when we stayed there. You can reach nearby restaurants within 10 min walk, or go further about 15 minutes to the bar and restaurant district. But note that many stores accept cash only and they close about 10pm. It’s very beneficial if you can travel by car because there is not much public transport.

This is a beautiful property (very modern and streamlined) with stunning views of the coast. We stayed in one of the budget buildings next door which was great as we were a large group and there was a common lounge and kitchen. We loved the bakery and shops in the main lobby area. The onsen was loved by everyone in our party. Staff are super helpful and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The room looks like it’s been water damaged and the ceiling and walls were bogged with cement. Staff were very nice but the property was very poor. I didn’t like the communal kitchen. I want to make a coffee first thing in the presence myself.
