“The owner, Heather, was very welcoming and hospitable. Heather was informative about the local sites and places to visit. A peaceful location outside Skipton. Well appointed accomodation, although be challenging for less mobile guests due to the stairs and bathroom, however there is a stair lift to help. Good wifi and lovely to be given welcoming custard tarts and butterscotch toffees.”

“The house was very good, some minor issues, the fridge was not very fresh, had to freshen it up, also some black mould around the bath/ shower so cleaned that as well. Watered the plants but clear no other guests had, also previous guests leaving cigarette ends in the garden and plant pots, not nice”

“We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The location is perfect, sitting right on the local canal in a very picturesque village. The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. A very peaceful and authentic experience.”
