Great older hotel, great facilities. Shame the smaller bar just to relax wasnt open and showed the sports. Hotel staff helpful and pleasent, golf / restaurant staff very slow at service and had people waiting a long time. Even a friendly morning hello wouldnt go a miss .... Nice food and good value.

Great stay

Great service, quick check in/check out, lovely spa/pool. Rooms a little tired and need refreshing but had everything we needed. Good breakfast (esp bacon!) Super views across Yorkshire. Great if you love golf too

Reception staff were friendly and helpful, but we found that staff on the bar downstairs to be rude when we asked if they were open. Grill on the Hill staff were great, despite reviews on google the food was great. The room was comfortable and clean, does need better or more pillows. The only thing we didnt like was that other guests left litter such as glass bottles and expired vapes around the grounds. As well as inconsiderate parking taking up 2 spaces. Would recommend for a short stay.
