Lovely stay, clean, lots of facilities. I particularly liked the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi which I used everyday of my stay. Room was a good size and had lovely views of the grounds. I would defintely stay again

free classes were really good, amazing pool, but make sure you book dinner in advance....we didn't and restaurant was fully booked but they managed to get us a table at 8.30pm. Suggested walks from the hotel would be useful too.

Stayed with my 2 dogs. Had a ground floor room not far from the lobby which made for easy access. Room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Price was very competitive but disappointed with the extra money charged for each dog. I realise that some owners are not very responsible but charging for each dog seems excessive.

Staff and room were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. Comfortable bed. There's some design flaws, for example you can't fill the kettle up at the sink without the water coming out as you try to extract it. Nothing major though. It's not that pet friendly. It would have been nice to have a drink in the bar but that would have meant leaving the dog in the car so we went somewhere else for a drink.

Absolutely beautiful site with large swimming pool and spa. The buildings are over 100 years old with trees around. Extremely large front garden. Great for pictures. Exceptional venue for wedding. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I would love to stay here again. Thank you.

A very pleasant short break at Hollins Hall. Staff were excellent and the food in the Grill on the Hill was delicious. The leisure centre was well equipped and very clean. Yes, the hotel is starting to show its age but overall the stay was very enjoyable.

Hollins Hall has been a great and grand hotel in the past I think. Does it need a revamp? Absolutely! That said, the bed was comfy. It caters for the golfing fraternity mostly it seems. Where Hollins Hall isn't as grand as the name might imply, we do stay there often as it's close to family we visit. In the broad scheme of things it's fine if you need a comfy bed for the night and it's very good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean ( we had an accessible room - the toilet was too low with someone with mobility issues) the shower was fab and the bar on 2nd floor was nice and serves food until 9.30pm. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food quality.

Overall super:) excellent gym facilities. Beautiful building and location. Slightly dated in places but great room sizes. Only comment would be that we had no housekeeping service on day 2. No one made up the room of replaced coffee etc
