“Just got back from a wonderful 3 night stay at the Burburry hotel. The hosts Wendy and Steve made us feel so welcome, the breakfast was amazing, the room was clean and well decorated, they also had a honesty bar well stocked with wine spirits and a selection of beers and soft drinks, again a well decorated bar area and snug ,it felt very comfortable. “Made to feel very welcome. Lovely fresh, clean room with a comfortable bed and good quality linen, which always aids a good night's sleep. Also huge bath towels which I love. Good selection of teas and coffee with fresh milk provided, which was nice. There were also some sweet treats and a tourist map provided in the room, which was very useful. “Overall a lovely stay. Staff were polite, helpful, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was welcoming and fely cosy. Reception, lobby, lounge, library, bar and restaurant were beautiful but the room we were in was a little tired decor wise. I do love the old features and understand it is an old building but some areas needed a little attention.”
