Photo "Autumn spring tide floods river Lliw The river Lliw, a tributary of the river Loughor floods within minutes becoming almost impassable. Impossible for cars (though some tried to our amusement) but if you own a Jeep 4X4 just some fun in a day's driving! This happens about 3-4 times a year on high spring tides - it can get a lot higher than this on especially high tides! Picture was taken about 45 minutes after sunset and the light is predominantly moonlight and residual sunlight. The picture is of a submerged road, layby and in the distance the West Wales railway line bridge just in front of the main road bridge." by Hywel Williams (Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.0) / Cropped from original
