“El hotel por fuera es muy bonito, pero por dentro muy viejo y sucio (bañera sucia con pelos, secador y mandos pegajosos, paredes y techo llenos de papeles para tapar imperfecciones, cortina q nunca con mal olor, ventanas con pestillos rotos) con habitaciones oscuras y muebles antiguos. Sólo estuvimos 5 minutos en la piscina porque no se aguantaba el olor a cloro. El desayuno básico, de panes sólo tenían pan de molde y pregunté si tenían cola cao para mi hijo, y la respuesta fue no. ”

“Quirky property, lovely log fire, helpful staff. Good food. Dogs very well catered for. Would have preferred a groundfloor room, which was originally allocated, but ended up in a first floor room. Lot of noise from heavy traffic at the rear of the property which can be heard in the room”

“Ideal for Chepstow racecourse. Not much else about the area without walking or taxis. On checki the weirdest thing happened they wouldn’t take payment and told me was a,ready paid for. Rooms we had were small but the bed was comfy. Rooms ok some could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast is ok I’m fussy about food so didn’t eat a lot just toast and coffee but the others in my party had the full English not so sure about paying extra for an extra sausage etc. hotel was very noisy on the Saturday...
