“The checkin was well communicated via email and totally virtual. We had no interaction with any staff. The room was nice but, despite a sign on the bathroom door, a very small step from the bedroom to the bathroom resulted in painful toes as both my wife and I stubbed them on the step. We were in the ‘Deer’ room which is on the third floor. Carrying our luggage up three staircases and narrow corridors was very difficult - there is no lift! “It was difficult coming from Monmouth.It said road closed when you turned left at Aldi.Spent 15mins trying to find another route.Phoned the hotelier and he said it was blocked but you had to turn left and ended up in a narrow track with no passing room.Roadworks are finished next week.”

“Highly recommended. Faultless. The staff deserve a special mention as they are excellent in all respects. An example is Carol who warmly greets you at breakfast and is a joy.
