“Off to a bad start due to the, otherwise very pleasant, owner pouncing on us as we arrived following a day of travel. We really just wanted to be left alone to arrive and unpack. “I booked a single room which was ok. A little tired but obviously, the main rooms with a view possibly being sorted first. The other rooms left early in the morning and left the doors slam which kept me awake from the early hours. Door fixings need to b more gentle when they close. I did ring down to reception but failed to get an answer as I was having trouble with the tv remote. Unable to get the volume increased. I’m sure, in time, all the rooms will b renovated.”
