It is what it is: a modest guesthouse. The room was clean, the lounge was not. There was breakfast, but it was modest. The house is quiet. The location is relatively convenient, and very near the promenade.
Missed breakfast which was always my highlight of my stays here previously. But this was my third time staying. I love the location; I can drink my coffee in my bay window and listen to the waves from Bae Ceredigion. It’s super close to the castle and just a short walk to the pier and town.
Our stay was great! The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was high quality and super tasty! It was amazing being so close to the ocean.

It was ok. No one cleans your room during your stay, bins were overflowing!
Could have been cleaner.
Breakfast was adequate, small portions but cooked well.
Property was in a good spot, close to front and beach and not too far from town.
Lovely location near sea front and castle, comfortable bed and room, and excellent breakfasts. Steep stairs and no staff to help with luggage and kettle missing from room, otherwise good.
Excellent location next to the castle. Could hear the waves from the room. Staff were helpful and responded to emails. Clean room without frills - just as advertised.
An unexpected delight. Basic clean room but with everything you need (except en-suite) but you know that when you book, although room did have a sink. The stairs might be a problem with the not so able bodied. A nice touch with a little tray of coffee, tea and biscuits. Great location very near sea front and castle. Remarkable breakfast with quality bacon, sausage and good coffee. The hosts, although only saw them at breakfast were very pleasant and attentive.
Clean and comfortable, great breakfast and good location for walkability anywhere in town.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Nice affordable stay. In particular we like to mention Richard who gave us breakfast during our 5 night stay. He was really helpful, professional and friendly
Breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked . Service with a good morning and smile , room was clean and tidy and ideal . All staff very friendly . Ideal situation for town and walk along the beach .
Only downside was shower , a bit dirty but then sharing it , probably doesn’t help much .
But definitely would recommend the place
A excellent location close to the castle and seafront although parking can be a problem.
My room was OK could have had a bit more storage space and a chair would have been useful also had a problem closing the window.
Nice cooked breakfast which includes fruit juice and cereal
