I took off the mattress protectors and would advise nobody sleep in those beds. Filthy, stained mattresses throughout. We left early and complained directly to the owners. Could not have cared less. I eventually got a full refund from Expedia, having pointed out breach of statutory rights and the owner's own...

“The hut looked really shabby from the outside but, thankfully, it was better inside. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but there were no towels or tea-towels, dishcloths etc. and no tea, coffee etc. The bed linen wasn’t great, with stains and burn marks on the duvet cover. The mattress was stained. As a one night stop-over on a bike ride it was OK, just.”

“It is a nice property and suited the family well. Reception couldnt help us find where the property was. We had received clear instructions when we booked but with the lack of mobile signal, couldnt find this info when it mattered. All our fault, but we did take some time to locate the property”
