“The room was decent and the bed comfortable. The issue we had was the bar had closed at 10.25pm and the bar staff wouldn’t serve us despite us having been told that it would be open until 11pm. We weren’t even allowed to add drinks to our bill and have them in our room because the barman said he’s closed all the tills. He said we could go to the local garage if we wanted to buy alcohol - not exactly what you expect when staying in a hotel.”

“On-site parking was ideal. Room was in separate block from main pub so quiet at night. Good breakfast range and friendly service.”

“The shower is so small my 5"1' self couldn't turn around. The toilet paper sat on top of the towels with "who gives a crap" wrapped around it. The room itself looked like someone shopped at goodwill to decorate it. The bed was hard. There was seriously no thought in the room. The staff were not around. Overall it was one of the worst places I have stayed at.”

“Conveniently located just off main road - the A40 between Fishguard and Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire, west Wales. Off-street Hotel car park. Very friendly and efficient staff. Located in a pretty valley with rock formations and a wooded gorge. Ideal for the Irish ferry between Fishguard and Rosslare in Ireland. I had a comfortable, clean, well-appointed room. Would book to stay there again.”

“The location of the hotel was ideal. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, but could do with sprucing up and updating. The bed was comfortable, and the shower over the bath was nice and powerful. The staff were friendly. The bar and restaurant were cosy and the breakfast room was light and bright. We had the continental breakfast, which was lovely, with a choice of cereals, fabulous choice of fresh fruit and juices, ham & cheese, Danish pastries, toast, and individual pots of tea & coffee. ...
