“The room was clean and bright, the pull out sofa bed was a bit short for an adult and we weee above the kitchen which was noisy at closing but done by 10pm. Great staff, pretty location.”

“Needed a place to stay when seeing a concert in Scarborough. The price was very good, got there and there were clear instructions on how to get in the property which was very secure. The rooms were really clean and plenty of parking by the hotel as well. Had all the things needed for a stay. Staff communicated well in terms of payments and codes to access the rooms. We were able to get breakfast downstairs the next morning and it was value for money.”

“The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The thing that let it down was the food. A lot of the courses were tasteless including the main breakfast. The only other thing we did not like was the shower, climbing in and out a bath. Also could not open the windows in.the room when it got warm”

“Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit.
