When she spoke to my wife a little later my wife offered her £20 pound for the journey and she gladly took it without mentioning that I had already paid but on her conscious be it won’t be going back strangely enough”

“Nice country pub with a cozy atmosphere. Our room was great, really clean and well presented, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a good shower and a decent size. Owners provided a fan which was very welcome during this current heatwave. We were greeted by Jacob in reception, really helpful, polite and respectful and he showed us to our room. “Friendly staff, outdoor area to eat which was handy with the recent hot weather . We had breakfast which had a good selection of English breakfast items. Happy with our stay for the price we payed and free parking which is always a bonus and friendly staff.”
