It's very near to station, just walking distance 5 -10 minutes, 24 hrs open service, easy to go by train to london Waterloo, Oxford university , southHampton , and so many places, cheap bus service to Heathrow terminal bus no 731

Was a lovely welcome , lovely team that catered to us especially as I had a Sen child with me , and I would 100% come back there was a lady in evening shift that was super lovely ..(can’t remember her name ) but thank you ☺️

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Didn't try the evening meal offerings as there is a good variety of restaurants nearby, but the breakfast was good. The room was clean and well equipped but a bit stuffy in the summer heat. Would stay there again next time I have work in the area.

great place to stay for a night

I found the staff very friendly and the room had every thing I would expect from a good hotel room. The breakfast was good and there food was very well cooked. The only niggle is trying to get to the main street.

Ideal location

The Hotel was ideally situated for the town and easy to find and free to park which is a bonus. Check in was quick and pleasant. The room was ok , could have done well a deeper clean but was still ok, with the warmer weather there was a fan supplied which was a nice welcomed touch. Breakfast was managed with the idea of ‘ no waste’ which is good , but the cooked food could have been hotter ( I personally do not enjoy cold toast, that was like cardboard) On a positive note , the staff couldn’t do enough to help and one in particular, Anna was on her own over the weekend and was non stop but always cheery and helpful.

Overall the hotel is good. A lot of interior work is needed in the bathrooms. Everywhere else spotless, staff very pleasant and helpful. First downside was the bathrooms were grubby/dirty and needed a good clean and vents replacing. Other downside is the beds are VERY firm and I’d say 3/4 - double so very small and not a very good nights sleep.

noisy!

Despite the listing saying the room was soundproofed it was not. There was traffic noise from a busy road and I could hear the tv and conversations in the next room, also their snoring all night. Plumbing also noisy. Staff were very nice but it doesn't make up for a room too noisy to sleep in
