This is a lovely Pub in the heart of Old Basingstoke. A trifle awkward to get into by car, but plenty of parking once we'd managed it! Friendly and helpful staff. A good breakfast.

Due to hot weather I asked if we could move to a lower floor room for our 2nd night ( they had provide 1 fan that was already in the room and 2nd one which I asked for but room was like an oven ..) The staff were fantastic and found a room within a few minutes on a lower floor and cooler .. Thank you to the staff

It was very well presented in all aspects. The kitchen staff were good and helpful. The reception staff were well dressed and presented themselves very professionally rooms were very neat and clean. Would come again when visiting my mother everything is nearby.

Excellent staff, very helpful and courteous. Stayed for 2 nights and room was cleaned each day with fresh towels. Very easy parking. Only downside was the bed mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. WiFi was excellent and the shower was strong and hot which is always nice.
