“I really enjoyed my stay here. Its perfect if you are working away etc. Spacious accommodation with a nice shower and you can park right outside your chalet. I had a great night's sleep. No complaints”

“I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back.”

“The Hotel was great. We arrived around 8pm and did not have an evening meal but breakfast was fantastic. Room was spotless and had recently been refurnished to a high standard. Access was via a steep staircase so anyone with mobility issues may struggle. The only criticism was that the hotel is located on a very busy road junction so traffic noise continued all night and many large noisy lorries using the road. “A hotel with a lot of character and history, with beautiful gardens and rural location. Breakfast was great; the room 23 was more than comfortable with all essentials. A very good value stay.”

“Excellent warm welcome at checkin. Plenty of free parking. Food reasonably priced and presented. Rooms were excellent, very clean and modern. Very quiet and good quality blackout curtains. Followed with a delicious breakfast all orderable so no buffet. Great affordable stay. Only downside is nothing in area but that wasn’t needed”

“When I booked for myself and grandson six ,I wasn't made aware that our "hotel room" was just a block of rooms at the bottom of a road near the entrance. These were unmanned and the key had to be collected from the main reception. This is no easy fete when there's a very steep long hill to walk up to reception. I was told our room was ready,we went down to it,expecting staff to meet us. None were there. So I and my little grandson had to walk back up to reception with a suitcase and rucksacks...
